Organizing a Union at your work place gives you and your co-workers the power to stand up for the rights of your families, your future and yourselves. The Union offers a legal contract which gives you a strong collective voice with which to demand decent working conditions, with fair pay and benefits.

As a Union, it is through organizing that we stay strong and united. In the last month, Teamsters Local Union No. 91 has organized three new companies. On behalf of the Executive Board and all of the Members, we would like to take this time to send our most sincere welcome to our new Brothers and Sisters from the Township of Madawaska Valley, the Cataraqui Town Centre, and the Palisades. We look forward to working with you in negotiations, to build a fair and decent contract.

We are a grass roots Local always striving to enhance the communication between the Local and the Members. As we move along, it becomes more apparent that our strength lies in two distinct facets: our link to each other through our Union Membership, and an informed Membership – for in knowledge and solidarity lies our strength.

Our office is duly named the ‘Members Building’ and is situated at 1300 Ages Drive, in Ottawa, Ontario - I encourage you to drop by. The Executive Board, Business Representatives, and Staff at the Local are always available to aid you in any capacity. Our building has been proudly built and fully paid for by the hard working members of our Local.The Teamsters have earned a reputation for bargaining hard and demanding the best protection and wages. Our diverse membership is constantly growing, and for that we are proud.
